Il “Trio for Violin, Horn and Piano” è nato con il desiderio di rappresentare, in qualche modo, i contrasti del nostro tempo: un tempo di luci e di ombre, di partecipazione e di indifferenza, di globalizzazione e di solitudine. La composizione è strutturata in quattro movimenti separati e qua e là appaiono frasi prese da un breve testo, che è da un lato ispirazione e dall’altro interpretazione della musica che si ascolta. Con l’immaginazione possiamo trovare: crudezza, passione, inesorabilità, idealizzazione del passato, malinconia, frenesia e follia. Siamo forse in un tempo che sta andando “Verso la fine”?

The “Trio for Violin, Horn and Piano” was inspired by the desire to represent the contrasts of our time: a time of light and darkness, of passion and indifference, of globalization and solitude. The composition is structured in four separate movements and here and there phrases appear taken from a short text, which is on the one hand inspiration and on the other the interpretation of the music being listened to.With our imagination we can find: harshness, passion, inexorability, the idealization of the past, melancholy, frenzy and madness. Are we perhaps in a time that is going “Towards the end”?
